Again I have neglected my blog once again. This has been a very busy start to 2009 for me. I am back in college!!! I am really excited about that. Other than working and college it doesn’t give me much time. I am in the application process for Big Brother Big Sister. I am pumped about that as well. This week I saw the Color Purple the musical. It was an amazing site on stage. I haven’t read the book or saw the movie. From what I was told it depicted very well. I think that covers everything up to date! Oh yeah I am extremely thrilled about our new administration and President Obama.

Hello ALL! It has been forever since I have written a blog not that anyone has missed it because no one reads it. LOL I guess I will state with BOOMER SOONER we are going to a national game again!
It’s coming to the end of the year and time to make the New Year resolutions. I want to commit to 5 thinks to make me a better person so suggestions are a must PLEASE.

So I get this feeling saying Google my grandfather on my dad’s side. I checked and see that he passed away on August 8, 2008. I was really was shocked that NO ONE told me about this. My family and my father’s side are not close but at least have the decency to call and tell me. My grandfather came and saw me at my aunt’s house sometime late July we had a nice talk. Well I guess it is to late to pay my respects at the funeral service.

I am big into Broadway and live theater. I was looking at Nick Adams website and blog and I see that he is coming to Oklahoma City to perform at the Oklahoma Civic Center from October 9 – November 1 to perform in The Rocky Horror Show. I am so excited he is my favorite Broadway actor and I get to see him live on stage and I don’t have to go to NCY to do it!!!!

Mamma Mia! ~ The Movie
I went to see this movie the first week it came out in theaters with a really good friend from work. This is one of the best movies ever if you suffer from desperation go see it you will be instantly happy I promise. Julie Walter as Rosie is hilarious!, Amanda Seyfried as Sophie she is wonderful, and Dominic Cooper as Sky couldn’t have been played better by anyone else. I would recommend anyone and everyone to go see this movie it will make you instantly happy.
Mamma Mia! ~ North American Tour ~ Broadway
I went to see this production last night at the Oklahoma City Civic Center. It was awesome I love live theater so I would have to pick Broadway style. The production was colorful and uplifting and the music was great! The story line is generally the same in both the movie and the production. My favorite actors would have to be Geoffrey Hemingway as Sky and Adam Michael Kaokept as Pepper.
If you don’t know me really well I am a huge musical fan!!! I am trying to save up the money to go to NYC and make it a Broadway vacation. I hope this will come in early 2009.
Does everything agree with me that communication skills are a must? I have this friend and she has to have the worst communication skills in the world or sometimes I just think she is just selfish.
The Story ~ I received an email from my boss about a location that that officers on the street couldn’t find they ask me in the comm. center if I knew where it was located. Well I haven’t worked for the city for 30+ years sorry I don’t know where these nicknamed places are called. It is not listed in the map book as an address. So what should I have done called me he would just tell me that he works Monday – Friday 8-5. In the email he sent pictures that he went out and took of the streets and location to the officers, my supervisor, the police chief and me. What a dumb ass!!!
Well I just happened to be working with my best friend when I got this wonderful email and so I wanted to grip about it for a second to get it off my chest and she wouldn’t even listen to me she asked me to get over it. What a bitch I thought you are my friend and I listen to everything you grip about. Do I have a reason to get mad about this? Or am I just over reacting?
Well I thought that I would have gotten over it by the end of this email but I haven’t.

Hello all, I have been struggling with my career choice which everyone that reads this knows. I went to my back surgeon and everything is going great with it. We talked about my career because I had to quit the plans being a police officer. During our conversation we talked about a few careers and he told me that I needed a job that had no risk of lifting. I am getting the basics out of the way. I have about three more classes that I will knock out this semester. Then two years of classes in special education. I want to be a high school special education teacher. I am happy and relieved that this search is over. How could I say no to the perks of being a teacher? Hum let’s see work year 182 days, work days 6 ¾ hours, worry free lunch, ALL holidays off!!!, not to mention spring break and Christmas break like 10 days!!!, and etc… I would be a fool not to be!!!! LOL OH! Yeah I forgot to say on the side my friend Laura and I want to start up a child care center the details will come in a later post.

I have been really busy or just not in the mood to type. Last night I took my mother and aunt to the “American Idol Live” tour concert. I will say I had a wonderful time. I liked all of the IDOLS on the TV show and they are even more impressive in person. My favorite has to be David Archuleta he is just an incredible singer.
Other than that my days have been pretty uneventful. My friend Laura and I are starting a diet plan together and I will be working very hard at the gym. We are going to be starting this tomorrow Saturday August 30, 2008. We are going to be doing this hardcore for three months. We will have are finial weigh in December 1, 2008 then we will start a new diet plan and add some competition to the plan.
We will be tracking are success on this site under THEMELTDOWN. Anyone else would like to join your more than welcome to. Just friends trying to encourage friends to live a healthier life style and share are experiences with one another.

I shared my blog with my best friend in the whole wide world then today I get this email from my friend. It reads check your spelling if you post this on the world wide web and goes on to say she doesn’t know how she feels about what I say in some parts. What the HELL!!! IT’S MY BLOG!!!!!
Okay a blog is not to be graded, judged, or picked apart by someone. This is the new age diary I am not turning this in as a term paper. Most of the time I write this at work I get busy and put it on hold for a little bit and come back to it I might make a mistake but guess what its mine and you don’t have to read it.
I guess what makes me so mad about it all when I talk to her on the phone she says “and you want to be a special education teacher”. What can I say I have the best – best friend? Why cant people just be happy and not find a negative in everything???
